Hardwood Will Remain King in 2024 

Hardwood flooring has been a popular choice for years and 2024 will be no different. Hardwood is known for its beauty, durability, and a timelessness that can fit any style. With new technological advancements, hardwood floors are more durable than ever before. As has been true for the last several years, white oak is on top when it comes to species. 

One rising star in the coming years will be engineered hardwood, which is designed to be harder and more durable than standard hardwood, meaning that you can count on engineered wood to last longer than its traditional counterpart.

Let's look at some more specific hardwood trends in the upcoming year.  

A Spectrum of Colors will be Popular 

Some years, light-colored woods are in. Other years, the popular eye seeks darker shades of brown. This year, a wide spectrum of colors will be popular.
